The overall experience was seamless and easy. We have used OHD of Kansas City for garage door and door opener service and purchased a garage door from them. This visit was for a new garage door opener install. The technician was excellent, helpful, and efficient...before, during, and after the install. He was helpful in training us on our new opener and programming our cars for the new opener. I would highly recommend OHD to my friends and neighbors.

Our door broke late on a Thursday night, and I didn't even know a garage door repair was available 24-7 until I looked it up. Got a hold of someone late that Thursday and set up a time for someone to come over the next day. I knew they had to move around some schedules to get someone here by Friday afternoon but they made it happen. The garage door was fixed in less than an hour and it was an easy transaction to pay right after. I was so glad it was fixed before my weekend trip out of town!

When discussing the wall garage door opener replacement, he informed me there were two options - the kind we had, and a less expensive kind without the light option. We went with the light option, but his sharing that info showed great customer service and was appreciated!

OHD replaced a failed Genie screw drive garage door opener with an Overhead Door™ belt drive. Our installer was very good, took no time at all, and fully explained the operation including the wireless connections. Overall, very satisfied.

My tension springs broke so I could not use my garage door. They were able to fit me in same day to come look at the door! They had to replace my whole tension spring system. The next day they came out and put a whole new system in! They were friendly and nice on the phone and in person! I'm glad I chose them! The garage door is working perfect now!

I called about a broken spring around 1p.m. had a tech there by 4 p.m.; they had it all finished by 5 p.m. Very quick and very professional; they went above and beyond.

I called about my broken garage door spring and got a quote for replacing both 15-year-old springs, and was told OHD could have somebody out to repair it by 8 p.m. that day or the following day. I requested same-day service, and I received a call about 4:30 p.m. verifying they would be out by 8 p.m. I received a call about 6:45 p.m. from Philip, the service technician, saying he was headed to his last appointment before me. He asked if I still wanted him to come out or make mine the first service call the next day, but I said if he was up to it; I preferred to get it done that night and he agreed. Once he arrived, he proceeded very quickly with the work to replace the springs, and followed all the COVID-19 precautions. I very much appreciated his staying out past 8 p.m. to repair my garage door.

We realized that we needed a new spring for our garage door after it broke on a Thursday. We submitted the request online Friday and they were here promptly on Saturday. I've used this company on multiple occasions and they have always been extremely prompt, efficient, clean, and reasonably priced. One service call was same-day on a weekend for a broken spring, which was oversized and had to be ordered. Fortunately, they were able to get the spring and repair the door in a couple of days. The other service was to replace an exterior key pad, which they handled very quickly. Both times they serviced the garage doors to be sure everything was working great. I recommend their service very highly.
